  • Yin Yoga is often described as the other half of a yoga practice. A Yin yoga practice is a slower, deeper practice affecting the connective tissues of the body. Yin Yoga is great for increasing mobility; nearly half of your flexibility originates in your joints. It is exceptional for building mental discipline as we surrender to stillness in long holds. You can expect to not stand up during a Yin class, but you can still expect a thorough and beneficial work out.

Find more info about our yoga class style here.

  • In general we do not recommend eating a large meal within 2-3 hours of a class – if you must eat within 2 hours of a class then a light meal or snack that it easily digested is best. We sell healthy protein balls at the studio, and recommend you grab one after class if you're feeling a little hungry.

Find more reminders here for new yogis.

  • Wear something that is going to allow you full range of movement. A t-shirt or singlet with leggings or shorts is all you need. For other ideas on what to wear, visit our Apparels section for lightweight yet functional yoga clothings.

Please leave your shoes and socks in the shoe rack at the front door.
