Be guided through various techniques which will build your capacity to cultivate a meditation practice to suit you and your particular situation. Expect to explore aspects of visualisation, meditative breathwork, meditative kriya techniques, mantra, Japa practices and contemplation. To develop your capacity to calm the mind, reduce stress and enhance your overall wellbeing.

Have you always wanted to meditate but just don’t know where to start? Had trouble stopping my mind racing? Had trouble sitting still? Can’t find the time? This five week course will have you experience and access meditation on various levels...even for you, the person who says “I’ve tried but I just can’t”. There are many ways to meditate...and we will explore a few of the strategies and techniques that will help you to explore what works for you:

Your Guide

Meet Sallie

 
 

Sallie did her original YTT with Bec Duffield in 2023 and immediately began teaching at Zero Point Yoga.

Wanting to explore yoga beyond the mat where else do you go but India. Sallie gifted herself 2024 to go on an adventure of self-discovery. This led her to a 200 hr YTT in Rishikesh with Anand Mehrotra at the Sattva Yoga Academy. So taken by this totally immersive program at the foothills of the Himalayas,

Sallie returned in November last year to complete a 300 YTT and quite literally the smile has not disappeared from her face since. She also spent four months imbedding this ntegrated practice in Bali which included a 100 hr Meditation Teacher training with Ashton Szabo at Alchemy Yoga and Meditation Centre. In 2025 Sallie completed her Yin and Yoga Nidra training with Bec Duffield and Mark Pheely. Sallie’s special areas of interest lie with Breathwork and Meditation. She has run workshops and retreat presentations in both areas. Forever the life long learner, Sallie continues to explore Breathwork and Meditation through workshops and seminars. She holds a Masters in Educational Wellbeing and has extensive experience in trauma informed education.

 

I personally felt quite the failure every time I sat down to meditate, however, through study, experimentation, research, listening and talking with knowledgeable, wise people I now have access to a number of different ways to gain the benefits of a solid, consistent meditative practice that works for me. And if it can work for me it can work for anyone!
