Advancing the Asana: Exploration & Extension Workshops

Take your practice further with our new advanced workshop series, thoughtfully designed for yogis ready to deepen, strengthen, and expand their asana journey. Each workshop centres on a specific development theme, such as inversions, arm balances, backbends, or advanced transitions or a more challenging or intricate pose, allowing you to break down complex postures and explore the building blocks that make them accessible.

Guided by experienced Zero Point Yoga teachers, these sessions offer a mix of technical refinement, playful exploration, and informed progression. You’ll move through targeted sequences that prepare the body for more intricate postures, discover the biomechanics that support safe advancement, and receive variations to suit where you are today, whether you're working towards a particular “peak pose” or expanding your capability within a category like strength, flexibility, or balance.

This series is perfect for practitioners with a consistent asana practice who are ready to challenge themselves, develop confidence in more demanding shapes, and gain a deeper understanding of how to evolve their practice with intention.

Please note: These workshops are not suitable for those new to postural yoga or anyone currently managing significant or complex injuries.

Your Guide

Meet Jodie

After years of exploring a range of movement modalities, Jodie began her yoga journey after spending two weeks in Thailand on what became a life-changing solo retreat in the jungle. She quite literally hiked in, looking forward to two weeks off-grid, and hiked out inspired to learn more. Just four months later, she had completed her first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and was teaching in Melbourne.

Since then, Jodie has studied extensively to deepen her understanding of yoga, with a particular passion for its philosophy, history, and traditional practices. When it comes to asana, however, her heart is firmly rooted in creative, playful exploration through vinyasa. She teaches slow, strong, and intelligently sequenced classes, with the intention of leaving students feeling connected, open, and at ease.

Today, Jodie teaches yoga full-time in Melbourne and along the coast, while continuing to deepen her own studies. She also facilitates retreats, workshops, and teacher trainings, with the hope of inspiring and supporting students and teachers alike on their individual yoga journeys.
