Beyond Fight or Flight: Understanding Your Nervous System's Survival Responses

  • Zero Point Yoga Ocean Grove Studio 41 Smithton Grove Ocean Grove Australia (map)
Beyond Fight or Flight
A$85.00

This educational workshop explores how our bodies and brains are wired to respond to perceived threat, moving beyond the familiar fight and flight to include the survival responses of freeze and fawn.

You will discover how these "four Fs" manifest in daily life and how they can be understood as intelligent, survival responses that have kept us safe at times.

This workshop provides a balanced approach of accessible neurobiology and practical somatic exercises to help build a more nuanced relationship with your own stress responses. Through guided educational content and gentle, trauma-informed practices, you will learn to recognise these patterns with greater awareness and self-compassion, without needing to disclose personal experiences.

Expect:

● Understand the four primary survival responses of the nervous system.

● Learn accessible frameworks for recognising your own stress response patterns.

● Experience how trauma-informed practices can support nervous system regulation.

● Discover gentle, practical exercises to build resilience and a felt sense of safety.
