🌿 Into the Wild: Wellness Hike

Step off the treadmill of daily life and into a morning of nature and movement in community.

Our Into the Wild Two Bays Hike is an early morning coastal walk on a stunning part of the Bellarine Peninsula.  This is more than just a hike — it's a reset for your body, mind, and spirit as we guide you through a scenic route through beautiful coastal landscapes. Expect to marvel at nature’s beauty, nourishing thoughtful conversation, and shared moments with a group of like-minded souls seeking grounding, growth, and presence.

Led by an experienced hiking guides, this experience is designed to help you feel more connected — to yourself, to the earth, and to others.

We meet at St Leonards Yacht Club at 6:30am and head into Edwards Point Wildlife Reserve, making our way along sandy trails and beach to Two Bays Lookout in Swan Bay, arriving just in time for sunrise over the water.

The route is flat and easy going (approximately 10km return) with good conversation, fresh air, moments to pause and take it all in. No rush. No agenda. Just nature doing what it does best.

A delicious and nourishing community breakfast is included on our return, along with an optional ocean swim for the brave, before heading back to reality. Own transport to St Leonards, with optional carpooling available from Zero Point Yoga.

What to expect:

  • Sunrise over Swan Bay

  • ~10km flat coastal trail through Edwards Point Wildlife Reserve

  • Nourishing breakfast included 🌊 Optional ocean swim

  • Carpooling available from Zero Point Yoga

Meet Geoff Wiffen

“I’ve been passionate about the outdoors since my early years in Scouts and Venturers, later spending over a decade as a part-time surf lifeguard and completing the Kokoda Trek. My love for nature—especially the ocean and the Otways—led me to guiding after several solo hikes, and I now work with an outdoor adventure company while balancing my full-time role as an Engineer at Ford’s Research and Development Centre. I’ve completed the Great Ocean Walk multiple times.

I hold First Aid, CPR, Food Handling, Remote First Aid, and Yoga Teacher Training qualifications, ensuring I’m well-prepared to support groups safely. As a hiking guide with Take Shape Adventures, I’ve led single-day and multi-day hikes, sharing skills in terrain navigation, environmental care, and outdoor survival.

I also guide wellness retreats, combining hiking with yoga to help clients reconnect with nature and themselves. My goal is to support others in pushing their limits and discovering the joy of the outdoors.”
