Meet Geoff Wiffen

“I’ve been passionate about the outdoors since my early years in Scouts and Venturers, later spending over a decade as a part-time surf lifeguard and completing the Kokoda Trek. My love for nature—especially the ocean and the Otways—led me to guiding after several solo hikes, and I now work with an outdoor adventure company while balancing my full-time role as an Engineer at Ford’s Research and Development Centre. I’ve completed the Great Ocean Walk multiple times.

I hold First Aid, CPR, Food Handling, Remote First Aid, and Yoga Teacher Training qualifications, ensuring I’m well-prepared to support groups safely. As a hiking guide with Take Shape Adventures, I’ve led single-day and multi-day hikes, sharing skills in terrain navigation, environmental care, and outdoor survival.

I also guide wellness retreats, combining hiking with yoga to help clients reconnect with nature and themselves. My goal is to support others in pushing their limits and discovering the joy of the outdoors.”

Meet Alexa Bishop

Alexa is an International Nature and Forest Therapy Alliance (INFTA)-certified forest therapy guide and lifelong nature enthusiast who blends evidence-based knowledge with deep reverence for the natural world.

After exploring more than 50 countries and immersing herself in landscapes that awaken the senses — from coastal coves and quiet woodlands to jungle paths and mountain peaks — Alexa has always returned to one truth: nature restores.

Her move from the UK to coastal Australia marked a turning point, offering the space to align her scientific background with her passion for slow, sensory reconnection with the natural world. This led to the creation of Restored in Nature — a space where she guides others to pause, breathe, and experience the proven benefits of nature through forest therapy and evidence-informed practices.

Alexa brings a unique blend of expertise, compassion, and grounded presence. Her qualifications include INFTA Forest Therapy Guide certification (2025),First Aid & CPR, and Parks Victoria Licensed Tour Operator status. Fully insured and professionally trained, she is committed to creating safe, meaningful, and transformative nature-based experiences for all.

At her core, Alexa is guided by curiosity, care, and a deep belief in the healing power of the natural world — a belief she now shares through every walk, every moment of stillness, and every journey back to what matters.
